Development History Gallery

With an area of 3,997 square meters, the Development History Gallery is chronologically divided into four chapters, namely, Starting From Scratch (1957-1977), Foreign Cooperation (1978-1992), Development at Full Speed (1993-2012), and Entering a New Era (2013-present), which systematically introduces the development history of the offshore oil industry of China over the past 60 years. With vivid stories, the exhibition tells the history of CNOOC's hardship, glorifies the noble character of CNOOC practitioners in their struggle and dedication, sings a heroic song of “I present oil to my motherland”, and writes a magnificent poem on the development of the blue territory.
