The China National Offshore Oil Industry Exhibition Hall is the largest new comprehensive exhibition hall in the industry carefully built by CNOOC. It is located at 2121 Haichuan Road, Binhai New Area, Tianjin, with a construction area of over 18000 square meters and an exhibition area of approximately 11000 square meters. The venue is equipped with four exhibition halls: Theme Exhibition Hall, Party Building and Culture Hall, Development History Hall, and Science and Technology Popularization Hall.
The exhibition hall is committed to the protection and development of red archives resources, the preservation of marine oil industry heritage, and the creation of a platform for promoting the spirit of oil. It aims to deepen and implement patriotic education, allowing the "visible spirit of central enterprises" to reach people's hearts, and to gather powerful forces for promoting high-quality development. Since its completion and commissioning in July 2022, the exhibition hall has extensively carried out various forms of activities with rich content, such as themed party days, red study tours, and knowledge popularization. As of now, it has received a total of 1372 visits and 39728 visitors.
The selection of patriotic education bases for central enterprises is a key task carried out by the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to further enrich the carriers of patriotic education for central enterprises, promote the in-depth exploration and display of the ideological connotation and contemporary value of red resources, and inherit and promote the spirit of patriotism. As an important window for promoting China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) culture, the exhibition hall always adheres to the principle of "service first", fully utilizes the resource advantages of patriotic education bases, and explains to visitors the development history of China's offshore oil industry, the significance of safeguarding national energy security, and the responsibility of CNOOC.
